These twelve characters are the main characters of The Next Level, an original story based off of my MMO LegaC. Unlike the game version, the rules in TNL are very real and VERY deadly. Certain rules (such as single-player restrictions) are also removed as being illogical in the real world.

The first two rows of characters represent the top eight players in the game. However, an event in the story causes Nichao to lose his abilities and weapons, which in turn forces him to replay key in-game events with all too real stakes (9). During his rebirth (in which he uses his real name as the new character name since "Nichao" is supposedly dead), Nicholas comes across his new rival named Michael (10). Meanwhile, Nichao's killer Lerikos deals with their new existence in his own arrogant fashion. Lerikos's own rival Allen continues to hunt him down, trying to eliminate a man he once revered but now despises (11 & 12).
